I like the title of this post because my wife if probably thinking does my husband really need another…….. or…….. or ……..!  LOL!  A handbag is an awesome accessory that helps that

 special someone feel good, feel complete, feel pretty or any number of other things.  We at Erinarich.com have been in the hand bag business for almost 20 years.  As you would guess that is alot of hand bags. 

Our goal has been to help people feel good about the bag that they purchase, and we feel we have done a good job.  However in the end the decisionto make the purchase is really yours.  A handbag is a small thing to purchase when your able to watch your special someones face light up with suprise. 

A handbag conceals, it carries personal items, it give a woman somewhere to place her arms (yep weird as it may sound).  A hand bag helps here feel comfortable in certain settings.

So maybe (just maybe) the question shouldn’t be “does my wife need another designer handbag”, but maybe it should be do I really want to see her smile that smile that is save just for me. 

 

 

 

 

Is your designer handbag out dated?

Anyone who owns hand bags would not agree with the questions I used to label this post.  The answer is almost always no.  Your hand bag is usually never out dated.  It can be over used, it can look worn and tattered, but it can never be out dated.  What is old usually always circles around and become new again.  Everyone knows that fashion travels in cycles and because of this cycle a good designer handbag can alwasy find use. 

So don’t throw your handbags away becuase you think they are “out dated”.  If they have been used to death then yes, lay them to rest in the happy handbag salvage grounds.   

We would suggest a storage bin that finds and awesome place out of the way.  We know that you may build a relationship with your handbags.  That perfect bag completes the outfit.  It helps you feel complete in your dress for that special occasion.  It keeps your content safe, it keeps your content secret.   A good handbag is special and that is why we make the suggest.  We know you will be looking for a new handbag over the holiday season and we will be offering them.

How to choose the right designer handbag for you?

So lets break down the situation. 

You want a new bag.  You have the shoes and the outfit, but you don’t have the bag.  Sometimes finding the right designer handbag can be the hardest thing to find.  Thats because there is a little voice inside you that tells you “this isn’t the right bag for you”.  Even though the bag looks awesome, deep down something about it just doesn’t work and you know what.  That little voice is right.

When choosing a bag we feel there are some basic things to keep in mind.  If you keep these few things in mind you will always be happy with your bag purchase.  To make this easier lets number them.

3. Body type 

4. Bag handles

5. Bag pockets

6. Storage needs

7. Clasp & Fasteners 

Each of these seven areas should play a part in your decision.  You can play the give and take game if you want to.  That game should be just fine, but none  of these should be disregarded.

First, over spending isn’t wise, so regardless of the bag.   Your budget shouldn’t be disregarded.  The designer handbag that you choose should be an amazing addition to your collection and wallet friendly too.  Second, the color of your handbag can’t over power your outfit.  How many times have you seen a young woman (who just hasn’t figured out the word balance) with a loud handbag that cost a small fortune.  You know the one.  She is usually in some Uggs, sweat pants and a tshirt.  Oh yeah lets not forget the starbucks in her hand.  (JK).  Third, your body type is probably the most important thing to factor in.  A handbag should compliment you, so if you are short and a little better fed then don’t choose a hand bag that is plump and round.  You can create and illusion with your accesories and your handbag is your most important accessory.  Fourth are the bag handles which fall into that same category, don’t ignore them.  There are there to compliment you.   Fifth on the list is the pockets on your designer handbag.  Those pockets are there for a purpose, some of the handbag pockets are for storage.  Other handbag pockets are for hiding things.  Not all of your handbag pockets are used for storage so don’t overstuff it.  Which moves us to number 6.  If you need lots of storage, then don’t buy bags that are thin and slinder.  You will never get the use out of that handbag and it will only collect dust.  We believe that your bag should get used.  While we collect them, they are not there to collect dust.  They are supposed to see the world.  Last do not forget the clasp, buckles, buttons etc.  Choose things that will not snag easily and make sure what you choose will be friendly to your outfit.  Some bag fabrics can rub your clothes to hard.  Others materials can appear to be darker or lighter based upon what you wear.

As stated before, we think that if you keep these few things in mind that you will always be happy with your designer handbag purchase.  Lets go shopping!
